Friendly service, clean and great tasting food. Our waitress, Andrea was cheerful and wanted to make sure we were happy with our meal. There was a short wait to our table during peak supper time and our meal was served promptly. We plan to go back again. Check #2017

Brought my girlfriend here for lunch recently. We initially felt bad because the server seemed very busy, so we told her to take all of the time she needed. It was to our surprise when despite that we got our meal in well under 10 minutes! Extremely impressed by our server Larissa for that! The food itself was delicious, and very well priced. Great, fast service and at an excellent level of quality. We will definitely be going back soon.

Food is tasty .... have to wait a bit

I just walked out. 3:35 pm on Wednesday. I walked in. No hostess or server in sight. Waited for 13 minutes. Nobody. There was one couple eating. So I walked next door to Pickle Barrel. Was craving Swiss Chalet but the lack of service just reminded me why I don’t cone to this location anymore. 😒

The food was excellent as usual. This is our most frequented Swiss Chalet. The service too was great and Larissa (208) was attentive and prompt with our food and beverages. Thank you for another great experience. Andre and Sandy check # 914.

This happened on Mother's Day.The kept me waiting for my online order 2 hours. Called the store 3 times and was told that they have 200 orders and they can't help me. We had a great meal at Swiss Chalet on Hespeler Rd in Cambridge Ontario. Our server Larissa was awesome! Our chk number was 1627. We will definitely dine here again when we come back in June for business. Awesome food, awesome service! Love it!

Great time to show up so it’s not busy is 9:30pm. Figured there wouldn’t be any screaming children but there was one (figures). Probably my first time showing up at a Swiss Chalet when no staff dropped and/or broke something on the floor though haha. Food was hot, service was fast and friendly, place was clean. Love eating at this Swiss Chalet! Every time we are there, we have great service and great food. Our server Kelly was not only super friendly, but funny as well. This was my third time placing an online order for a future time and the third time it arrived 23 minutes after my scheduled delivery time. I went online and scheduled the delivery as I have one year old and we need to eat on time. Our order was 23 minutes late, I ended up having to make other food for our son to eat while we waited (thus defeating the purpose of ordering takeout) and when it finally arrived it was stone cold. I had to put it in the oven and cook it again which only delayed dinner for my family even further. I think tonight was our last time ordering Swiss Chalet.

Frequently dine here, and have enjoyed it every time. The chicken is always great, the fries are amazing. The hostess & wait staff are friendly and accommodating.They have also recently switched from plastic straws to biodegradable ones, which is absolutely amazing to see in such a widely popular chain!It's great to see big corporate restaurants taking such positive action, being leaders in the business.

Reasonably fast service through pick up/take out. Food was decent as expected, not a fan of the new caesar kale salad and the chicken pot pie was over cooked. My main reason for 4 stars. Rest of my food was great. This location is quick with friendly staff.

Went for dinner last night. I was craving Swiss Chalet all day. My Husband had Hot Chicken and gravy. I ordered the Wrap. It was so Dry, a little piece of tomato, and not grilled much at all, so the tortilla was mushy, not grilled. I tried my husbands Ceaser salad, and that's been changed to Kale lettuce, if you have a partial denture, you Can Not chew it. We left it on the table.The Fries have been Changed, not Fresh cut anymore, Frozen maybe and bland. Neither of us ate our fries. I didn't eat any of my meal. I told the waitress why, she said oh sorry I'm new. End of story!! Cost us $35.00 for my husband to eat part of a meal. You've lost 2 very long time loyal patrons . If it's not broke dont fix it. The place was very quiet

What's the point of ordering from this place? Every single time someone comes to our office, they request swiss. Every single time, food is wrong, or outright forgotten. Today was both. Also almost an hour late. Just sad.

We took our granddaughter to Swiss Chalet to celebrate her graduation. Enjoyed a good meal with ample time for conversation in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Our food selections were reasonably priced and to top it off we were served by a friendly and courteous waitress.

Quarter chicken serving was tiny -- the plate was 3/4 French fries!! Service was a little slow and we got there just as they opened. No coffee was made, waste baskets in the restrooms were overflowing from the night before.

Came in with my wife after a long trip back from Markham. We stopped at our regular Swiss Chalet location on Hespeler rd, were seated and immediately were attended. We ordered our regular quarter dark with fries and extra sauce. Our server Larissa brought our meal when it was nice and hot and to our liking. She was pleasant and made us feel very relaxed as we eat our dinner. We try to visit this location no matter how far we have traveled.Our check number # 1113

Swiss Chalet being a known establishment for their menu and has a variety of foods available. I was a little disappointed with my order because it was just slapped on a plate and sent to me. I enjoy ordering the Chicken Club Kaiser because I still get the fries with the sauce that is ever so good and I can pour the sauce on my sandwich. This store is loud at its busy times. Many screaming kids can torment other guests. I would suggest this place at a lunch time.

Order Holiday Special meal from here but was disappointed in service and food quality. An item was missed from the order and food was appetizing at all. Chicken looked raw with white visible skin on it. Ruined my dinner and time and i am still HUNGRY. Will never order from here again.

I think the server was on her first day or just a bad server. Look at the pic and see I got no coleslaw. No gravy on the meat. It was dry. She asked...how is everything? I said I was disappointed in the quality. She asked if I wanted a manager. I said no. She didn't ask if l wanted gravy after I told her the meat was dry. Just realized I didn't get the toblerone. Too late now I'm home. Had to ask for coleslaw. When placing my beef order the server asked...white or dark meat? I looked at her puzzled. She said oops I thought you were pointing at the chicken. There wasn't even a picture of chicken on that page of the menu. Very poor service. Very disappointed in the quality of this meal. The flyer pic is what drew me in to begin with. I paid 20$. Yep I'm crazy. The hostess was very upset looking. No manners. I've ordered take out here as well. No more. They are not geared toward good customer service.

Server Jessica should not be a server. Very rude to my family. No cutlery, couldn’t remember which drink was which, orders mixed, asked us if we wanted our bill in the middle of our meal (came with pie). We asked, do we get our pie? And she responded with “do you want to take it to go? So can I get you your bill?” Shocked, we said no we will have it once we are done our meal. She served us frozen apple pie. Gave us attitude from that point on! Can’t believe they have her on staff!! We would’ve been fine if she said, I’m new or sorry but she gave us attitude instead.

We came for a later dinner around 730pm on a Friday night. No wait and the service was fine. Food was typical, chicken was nice and juicy, Caesar salad portion was a bit shrimpy. *ATTENTION** Don’t order delivery though, they’ll screw it up for sure and forget most of the important ingredients.

Really enjoy this restaurant. We come from out of town, weekly. It’s so much nicer than the one in our city. Warm friendly staff and good hot clean food in a very clean atmosphere.

Good service. We went there for the two can dine special, so the value was exceptional.Their redesigned menu is very easy to read, and well laid out. Also, the new menu items are delicious. The garlic green beans are great for people watching what they eat, but the parmesan fries were a delightfully tasty treat.I can't wait to go back, I want to go again before the special is over.

This was the Waterloo Location at Boardwalk and not Cambridge - Unable to correct this - The Story follows - This really bothers me - during our visit on Saturday - I brought it to the attention on the Manager on duty that there was a pin feather still in my wing - (it doesn't happen often but anytime it has the Manager is more than appoligitic and corrects without question) except for this manager - he assures me this is how we serve chicken at Swiss Chalet - I was blown away - 40 years going to Swiss Chalet and he tells me this is how they serve Chicken - now with pin feathers in the wing - WOW - can someone from head office have a chat with this Manager - please

Love Swiss chalet, especially their dipping sauce. Great prices and food. Atmosphere is nice as well. Our waitress last night was sweet, and she made sure our drinks were filled which I always like.

It is a nice place but I expected more. The food was delicious but in small amounts. The drink was so called cocktail of whiskey and vodka but tasted like cold water with a pinch of fruit!

Visited for dinner with a group of four. There seemed to only be one waitress working and we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated in the half empty restaurant.It took much longer to bring us water than would be expected, seemingly due to the lack of staff. Our meals also took much longer than they should have. I would not visit this location again.
